Chronology of cameras Ilford

The Ilfomatic series lasted only from late 1966 to the end of 1969. During that period Ilford evidently sold its film in its own cartridges; a message on the back reads" Use Ilford Cartridges".

Some sources say that it has two apertures and two shutter speeds, but this seems unlikely. There is a change in aperture when the little cursor is moved from 'cloudy' to 'sunny', but there is no obvious change in shutter speed, or when a flash cube is inserted. The flash cube is rotated manually by a separate thumb wheel.
